Day 4 Drive for Change Sober October Challenge Wix blog
Welcome to Day 4 of our DRIVE FOR CHANGE SOBER OCTOBER Challenge!
We have just 2 days left in our challenge, so let’s make the most of them.
And don't forget our "Pedal to the Metal” Training and Q&A call (Saturday, October 22nd, from 1 pm-2 pm PT) where I'll be answering your questions live!
Before we get to today’s lesson, I was wondering: How are you feeling now that you have spent 3 days taking bold action toward creating change in your life?
I hope you have been having a great week so far and are feeling the energy and momentum growing in your life as a result of the action you have been taking to drive for change these past few days!
Today’s focus is on how to navigate the detours.
Now that you have fully embarked on your journey and are aware of the milestones you want to reach along the way, it’s time to talk about what to do when you reach an inevitable roadblock.
Because no road to success is obstacle free! You will run into setbacks, and that’s okay. It’s better to know they are coming and prepare for them than to pretend they don’t exist or assume that the first little bump in the road is a sign you were destined to fail.
So how do you prepare yourself to successfully navigate roadblocks in your journey to achieve your goals in life?
Let’s get into it!
Here’s today’s video lesson:
Watch Day 4: Navigate the Detours
Once you have watched the video, your challenge for today is to:
Identify ONE area of your life where you are feeling blocked. This could also be an area of your life where you know you are at risk of running into an obstacle. For example, Feeling stuck with an addiction or one of your relationships, your one action could be to send out an email to that person and set up a zoom chat. or if you feel urges and cravings seek out a mentor about helping with your addiction.
Identify ONE action you will take to build your capacity in that area. What is ONE action you can take today to overcome that block or build your strength and confidence in that area? For example, Maybe one action could be to join a recovery support group or search youtube on how to deal with urges and cravings. Or if you feel stuck in your carrier your one action could be to buy a book to expand your knowledge in key areas where your skills could be improved.
Commit to taking that action before you go to bed! Also, be sure to share that action with the Drive for Change Facebook group to be entered to win more great prizes! We are here to cheer you on and remind you that you can achieve any goal you can imagine. (And if you’re feeling inspired, also be sure to share your work on your public Facebook channels using the hashtag #DriveforChangewithstefan – so you can encourage others to “do something different” as well!)
Have fun with it, everyone!
To your boundless success,
Sincerely Grateful
